Harry is introduced as a weird boy in highly unusual ways. In this chapter he`s doing his homework he has for his wizard school (Hogwarts). Here it also explains how ended up living with the Dursleys, (Uncle Vernon,Aunt Petunia and their son Dudley). It also explains that Ron apparently tried to phone Harry,which he got in trouble for.Chapter 2: Aunt Marge`s Big Mistake.

Aunt Marge (Mr. Dursley`s sister) comes to visit for about a week. Harry tries to be a good kid so he can get this form signed so he can go to Hogsmead. But Aunt Marge decides to be a bit cruel (like all villains) and claims that Harry`s parents are nothing but bad blood,which angers Harry,making him make Marge blow up into a big balloon thing. She then floats away and is never seen again.Chapter 3: The Knight Bus.

Harry has left the Dursley`s because of what Aunt Marge said and evade trouble with Mr.Vernon. After a while or so he stops and sits down on a curb which is near a park and he sees this massive black dog,growling at him. He stands up and gets his wand out but a double decker bus appears in front of him which takes him to the Leaky Cauldron.Chapter 4: The Leaky Cauldron.

Harry wanders around Diagon Alley where he meets up with his friends Ron and Hermione. After getting to a shop where Ron`s rat Scabbers is looked out for a while,Hermione gets her cat Crookshanks at the same place.Chapter 5: The Dementor.

After being given a ride to the train station,Harry and his friends hop on the train (Hogwarts Express) to their destination,Hogwarts castle. After seating themselves in the same compartment as R.J. Lupin,the quietly talk among themselves when suddenly the train stops and it starts to get cold. After a while the compartment door opens and a dementor appears, tries sucking out any happy memories from Harry for a while before Lupin jumps up and uses his wand to scare the dementor away.Chapter 6: Talons and Tea Leaves.

During their first class (Divination) where they meet Professor Sybil Trelawney,who makes a few predictions about some people. After this class is over they head on over to Hagrid`s class (Care of Magical Creatures) where Malfoy has a moment with BuckBeak the Hippogriff and Malfoy gets hurt.Chapter 7: The Boggart in the Wardrobe

Malfoy is being "helped" in potions by Harry and Ron. So after potions,the go to their DADA class with Professor Lupin. For the lesson they are learning about Boggarts and how to defeat them. So all of the students (sorta) get to try and defeat the boggart.Chapter 8: Flight of the Fat Lady:

After dealing with Malfoy,Ron and Harry have their flobberworm thing for Care of Magical Creatures. After that they the head on to Potions where Neville is being bullied by the famous Snape. As they get to Trelanwey`s class,Harry tries to ignore the Professor`s eyes,who are filled with tears.Chapter 9: Grim Defeat

In Dinivations Harry finds in his tea a symbol that means the Grim which means something bad will happen.
Chapter 10: The Marauder`s Map

In this chapter Fred and George give Harry this map which they nicked from Flich`s office. Harry uses it to get to Hogsmead,where in Honeyduke`s theres a secret trap door that is hidden inside the candy shop. He then goes and hangs around Ron and Hermione at the Three Broomsticks,which is kinda like a bar for all people of all ages. There they discover that Sirius Black is Harry`s Godfather.Chapter 11: The Firebolt

Harry receives a FireBolt (a type of broomstick) for Christmas by an unknown person. McGonagall takes it away thinking it might be jinxed. Harry becomes upset because he has a game thing to attend to and now has to read a different broom. During the game it`s Gryffindor and Slytherin in which Gryffindor wins.Chapter 12: The Patronus

Harry finally gets his broom (Firebolt) back after having it checked over for jinxes and Hex or any charms that might hurt him or get him killed. He`s also being taught how to do the Patronus Charm is doing very well.
Chapters 13-22

Harry goes against Ravenclaw in a quidditch match in which they (Gryffindor) wins. In Snape`s Grudge Snape has a little grudge against Neville and Lupin in which something happened in Lupin`s class in which sorta included Snape. In The Quidditch Final Gryffindor plays against Slytherin which they also win (Gryffindor I mean.) In Professor Trelawney`s Prediction,Professor predicts that Voldemort will come back to try and kill Harry. In Cat,Rat, and Dog Scabbers is revealed to be Wormtail or Peter Pettigrew and well has a nasty reunion with Lupin and Sirius in the Shrieking Shack. In Moony,Wormtail,Padfoot and Prongs Harry discovers that His father and his three friends were animagi and went to the Shreiking Shack with Lupin so he could transform into his werewolf form. In The servant of Lord Voldemort wormtail heads back to Voldemort`s side as a his loyal Servant. In The Dementor`s kiss Sirius almost gets his soul taken from him by a dementor but someone (Harry saves him) . In Hermiones Secret Hermione reveals she uses the time turner she got from Mcgongall to get to her classes in time and such. In Owl Post Again, Harry gets a letter from Sirius saying he and BuckBeak are safe and tells Harry he bought the Firebolt for him.
